Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 Service Pack 2 (SP2) 已发布。
前几日看到不少网友有说自己的Visual Studio .NET Beta 2已经过期，而欧美国家许多人购买的Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 光碟还在路上，就已经过期了，MS的这个SP看来主要是弥补这个损失的，目前还不知这个SP2具体的清单。希望大家一起继续关注。
我用的是企业版没有这种过期限制，通过VS.NET Beta 2 Help中的检查Update中可以检查到这个新的更新，1。7M的文件。下载和安装都一切正常，VS.NET Beta 2 发布时的版本号是：7.0.9254 , SP2 之后没有变化依然是：7.0.9254
我想那么这可能不是传说中的Beta 3 ,顺便附带给大家屏幕的拷图

The purpose of Beta 2 SP2 is to correct an inadvertent time-limitation in the Professional edition of the Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 development environment. The time limitation is set to expire on July 31, 2001. Most customers who received copies of the Professional edition CD containing this problem have been contacted, and replacement CDs have been sent to them. However, it was not possible to identify all customers who may have received copies.

To apply Service Pack 2, choose Check for Updates from the Visual Studio .NET Help menu. If the time limitation has been activated, you can update Visual Studio .NET Beta 2 as follows.
In Control Panel, chose Add/Remove Programs.
Select Visual Studio .NET 7.0 (Professional or Enterprise) - English, and then click Change/Remove.
Click the third option: Service Releases.
