这里就以Windows 2000 Server系统平台为主，如果要在其它系统平台安装请查阅coldfusion MX 7的在线帮助文档。在安装的过程中以图例一步一步进行安装。
第一步， 选择安装ColdFusion MX 7，目前只有英文版，安装界面如下：

第三步，ColdFusion MX 7的许可协议，如下图所示：

第四步，ColdFusion MX 7共分为四种版本： Enterprise(企业版)、 Standard(标准版)、 Developer(开发版)、 以及Trial（30 天试用版）。 Enterprise 比起 Standard 版本多出了一些功能( 1.Macromedia JRun建产结合 Coldfusion和Java的后端逻辑的混合应用。2.J2EE服务器的部署，像IBM WebSphere、BEA WebLogic 或 Sun ONE 上，与 J2EE 结构相整合等 ),一般使用标准版就足够了。刚开始学习Coldfusion的朋友，建议使用开发版拥有完整的功能，也不受时间的限制,但只能单机使用。如下图所示：

第五步，第一项服务器配置，第二项是多服务器配置，第三项是J2EE配置，CFMX和J2EE的应用。在这里我们选择第一项服务器配置。如下图所示：

第六，安装其它资料，ODBC服务，Serach服务，获取标准体验、教程和文档，Dreamweeaver的扩展，调试报告器，如下图所示：

第七步，选择安装CFMX7的安装路径，我们这里就默认。如下图所示：
